Daniel Costea is a business lawyer and legal strategist with more than 25 years of experience advising local and international clients on complex transactions, restructurings, and regulatory matters. A graduate of the University of Bucharest Law School and holder of an MBA from WU Executive Academy in Vienna, Daniel blends legal acumen with strong commercial insight.
He has a broad practice spanning corporate and project finance, distressed asset restructuring, M&A, real estate investment, energy, agriculture, media, and public procurement. His transactional work includes cross-border deals involving joint ventures, debt restructuring, secured financing, and privatizations. He also assists clients in navigating regulatory risks and designing efficient corporate governance systems tailored to operational realities.
Daniel has served on the Supervisory Board of OMV Petrom and has been an advisor to the executive management of financial institutions and agribusiness groups.
